How to Make an Offer

While we've tried to make the process as safe and easy as possible, it's ultimately your responsibility to perform your own due diligence and make sure that the car you're considering is right for you – prior to making an offer.

Offers represent a serious commitment to purchase the vehicle. Only make an offer if you're serious about buying the car and have done your research. Offers placed in the final minute of the listing will extend the listing timer by 2 minutes to give other interested buyers a chance to counter-offer.

To win a live-offer event on IslandAutoBids, you must place the highest offer before the listing ends. If the listing has a reserve price, your offer must meet or exceed the seller's hidden reserve price.

After the listing closes, we'll provide you with the seller's contact information (and vice-versa) to finalise the details and logistics of the transaction.
