1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using IslandAutoBids, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Platform Description

IslandAutoBids is an online listing platform dedicated exclusively to vehicles. Sellers can list vehicles with either fixed pricing or offer-based listings where buyers place competitive offers. When a listing ends with a winning offer, we connect the buyer and seller by sharing contact details. We do not facilitate transactions for vehicle sales, or mediate disputes. All sales are completed directly between parties.

3. User Accounts

• Users must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information
• One account per person is permitted
• A verified phone number is required to list vehicles or place offers. Phone verification helps protect all parties involved in a transaction

4. Listing Requirements

• Sellers must have a verified phone number on their account before submitting a listing
• All vehicle listings must be accurate and truthful
• Sellers must have legal ownership or authorisation to sell
• Photos must accurately represent the vehicle's condition
• Any known defects or issues must be disclosed

5. Making Offers and Reserve Prices

• A verified phone number is required before placing any offer
• Offers represent a serious commitment to purchase
• When a listing ends, the highest offer that meets the reserve price is automatically accepted
• Contact details are shared between buyer and seller to complete the transaction directly
• We recommend completing transactions within 7 days, but the timeline is between parties
• IslandAutoBids does not guarantee transaction completion

6. Prohibited Activities

• Offer manipulation or shill offering
• Listing stolen or illegally obtained vehicles
• Harassment or abusive behavior toward other users
• Circumventing our fee structure

IslandAutoBids reserves the right to cancel listings, remove users, or take other appropriate action in cases of fraud, policy violations, suspicious activity, or any other reason deemed necessary.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you submit to IslandAutoBids, including photos, descriptions, and other listing materials. By submitting content to the platform, you grant IslandAutoBids a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• Display your content on the platform as part of your listing
• Feature your listing in paid promotional placements (Spotlight, Homepage Feature) that you have purchased
• Share or promote your listing on IslandAutoBids social media channels, advertisements, and marketing materials
• Retain your listing and its content on the platform after it has ended, as part of our public listing archive

This licence is limited to operating, promoting, and improving the IslandAutoBids platform. We will not sell your content to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to the platform.

You represent that you have the right to submit all content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
